「We stayed on a Friday and the reception was chicken fajitas and tortilla soup. This has happened to me before. I don’t care for Mexican food due to spices. It would be nice to have a second opinion! Offer a non Mexican soup maybe or a better salad than spinach.」

「DO NOT STAY HERE UNLESS YOU’RE DESPERATE! The only thing worse than the service is the amenities. This place basically offers a bed and a shower—and even those fall short. There was no hot water, no extra blankets if you get cold, and the entire place had a strange, unpleasant smell. Overall, a very uncomfortable and frustrating experience. I would strongly recommend staying somewhere else.」

「Our room was very hot the first night. The air condition is not controlled in the room but rather generally by the staff. So you have no control over the a/c. It is a historic building. This being said the rooms are small and the street noise is incredibly loud. It felt like there was drag racing outside our room in the street all night. Literally could not sleep with all the noise outside.」

「my room was great for the exception of the water pressure in the bathroom sink, also when the hot water was turned on and it reached a point of being too hot when the cold water was turned on to cool down the hot water the cold water took over and now the water was too cold. Had to stand and play with it and the water pressure was really bad.」

「Unfortunately, this property did not live up to expectations. The room was nice but there were too many surfaces that weren’t cleaned prior to check in. The bathroom sink was barely wiped. Desk and nightstands had a dusty film and the carpet was musty. The towels were the hardest I’ve ever experienced at ANY hotel. Hotel restaurant had very few options and the staff seemed to not want to be there. It took over 20 minutes to get coffee. It was self serve, I had to wait to pay. Real unimpressed...

「My only complaint is that I had only one bottle of water in my room and there was no refill the next day」

「Very expensive and very very basic. Would have at least expected a couple of complimentary bottles of water in the room… . Had to pay almost $10 for 2 bottles of water just to have something to drink . Valet parking was $48. Self park was $40. Pricey in addition to the $300 ish cost of the basic room. Would not go back」

「Room size is a bit small and it is not cleaned properly. Quite dusty on some tables and in the washroom.」

「We got a room on the corner of the building and it was so big and pretty. It was very clean. The room said 1 bed but it also had a couch with a pullout bed. Breakfast was good and free. Parking can be expensive. Felt safe here despite lots of homeless people downtown.」
