「The Inn at Warner Hall is a fantastically restored piece of history. The inn is in great condition and beautifully done. The property grounds look great and includes a 1-mile walking path with river views. The friendly staff and great breakfast only add to a wonderful stay.」

「Outstanding cleanliness and great and extremely helpful staff. One of the cleanest I’ve stayed in.」

「Love it」

「We loved everything about it. The only thing that would have made it a little nicer was if the bed was more comfortable but the stay was great!」

「The property itself is quite good—newly renovated facilities, a convenient location, and a nice free breakfast. It’s easy to see why it has a 9.0 rating and overall, it’s worth it. 「Nice hotel surrounded by numerous food options. Close to colonial town and great for a stop off.」

I was unhappy that the hefty “resort fee” had been hidden in fine print, adding significantly to the cost of the room. When I asked why we were being charged such a fee, the check-in clerk’s reply was “we charge everyone” — not a helpful answer. This encounter left a bad impression on me, and while I like to support Colonial Williamsburg, I won’t stay in one of their hotels again. I also think Expedia should...
