The suite was very clean + the staff was very nice and helpful for the most part. No major complaints and we would love to be back there in the future! However, there was no option to leave our bags at the lobby/elsewhere in the hotel after checkout. So, we had to carry our bags for the entire day while exploring the city. They also made us sign a note at check-in, which said we'd have to pay a $150 cleaning fee if the room was too unclean. It was unclear what "very unclean" really meant - it felt more like an Airbnb.

We have stayed at the Patriots Inn several times and have always enjoyed our stays. The rooms are more like small apartments than hotel rooms. Even the one bedroom unit has two bathrooms, which we really appreciate. We find the rooms to be clean and nice. The only issues we had with our latest stay was that there was evidence of a leak in the corner of the living room ceiling and the thermostats on the HVAC units did not operate consistently. The evidence of the water leak was in the corner of the ceiling near the outer wall. We were in a top floor unit, so it couldn’t have been a leak from a room above, but perhaps a roof leak or a leak in the fire suppression system. I do not touch the spot in the ceiling, so I don’t know if it was wet or just left over from a previous issue, but it did concern us about the possibility of mold in the area above the ceiling. Since we do not notice the discolored area in the ceiling until we had been in the unit several days (and didn’t feel like moving), we did not ask for another room. We were still happy with our stay and will definitely stay again in the future.

We thoroughly enjoyed or stay at Patriot’s Inn. We were very pleasantly surprised with the room. For a very reasonable rate we got a suite with a living room, separate bedroom, kitchen and two bathrooms. We will definitely be staying there again!

The apartment and the location were great. What we really didn’t like was having to look for a trash can in another building. I don’t want to spend my vacation walking around the neighborhood looking for somewhere to throw away the garbage – that’s something the person who cleans the apartment should be able to take care of. We were also reminded about five times that we had to check out at 10:00 a.m. – by the staff member at check-in, via text messages, and by email. It felt excessive and made us feel like the management couldn’t wait for us to leave. Otherwise, everything else was great.
