「Location is excellent - near lots of great walkable restaurants and the subway is close by. The staff is welcoming and attentive. The hotel provided a light continental breakfast which was fine. The building is dated which is a double-edged sword. The architectural details are charming; however, the age of the building made for a few annoyances—the room was lacking in tight, plentiful electrical outlets so it took a long time to recharge phones, etc. My bathroom did not have a vent fan so...

「Pro's: - For NYC our room was huge (corner king) - Comfortable bed - I'm not sure how they did it but we heard zero street noise from our room on the 4th floor, and no noise from other guests either - Great smelling products and nice bathroom Con's: - Some parts of our room were a bit worn down which I would not expect from a hotel this price and was disappointing. The bottom of the bathroom door was warped and the windows needed a good clean from the outside.」

「Loved the kixby and can’t wait to stay again. Loved the water bottles and the refillable station. We even recieved a free upgrade to a larger room. The only issue we had was with a rude server at the rooftop bar. He was pretty annoyed we ordered a round of sodas instead of alcoholic drinks. He came back with the check before we had a chance to order anything else. The Kixby was awesome, but I’d skip the rooftop.」

「 Excellent stay in a prime location Stayed at The New York EDITION and had a great experience. The hotel is stylish, calm, and very well maintained. The room was quiet and comfortable, with excellent bedding — perfect for resting after busy days in New York. Location is ideal, close to Fifth Avenue and Madison Square Park, making it easy to get around Manhattan. Staff were professional and helpful throughout the stay. Would definitely stay here again.」
