I enjoyed the stay here! It’s a beautiful boutique, and love details of the decorations! The space it’s also big enough to open the two 29 inches suitcase, and accommodate 2 adults and 1 child in a room. The front desk is kind and polite! The only problem we met would probably that the bottle that could use to refill the water which has good intension, had already been opened which weren’t sealed! I’m just concerning about the health problem if someone has drink from the bottles? So I think it would be good to give a new bottles at least when people check in, not leave the old bottles there.

We debated between the Romer and the Kimpton (construction next door! Or Muse (90/ decor) which all had 2 Queen Beds. Romer was fantastically convenient and just far enough from the heart of Times Square where you could see locals, feel safe and have great food options I really like the 70s “sterophile” decor and rooms are simple but cool, nice open view of the street. The coffee shop in lobby is a HUGE bonus if you know NYC coffee shop lines and they made a scalding, burn your face off delicious cappuccino to start the day. Don Antonio (sit down Neopolitan Italian), Hagi Japanese and 9th Ave (restaurant row) are all steps away. And super easy to get to shows and Times Square. Subway also right there on 51st and 50th.

Un excellent séjour dans ce très bel hôtel idéalement situé car on peut faire énormément de choses à pied à partir du Romer. A deux pas de Broadway et Times square, une station de métro juste en bas de l’hôtel. La chambre était bien grande (nous étions 4) et les lits grands et très confortables, ce qui est appréciable après de longues journées de marche.Un personnel très aimable et souriant et prêt à rendre service. Au niveau du Check out pas de surprise. Nous avons bien payé ce qui avait été annoncé. Je recommande sans hésiter !

Lovely and helpful staff. Very nice coffee shop situated by the lobby. Location was great for accessing all the sights of Manhatten. There were some minor issues with the elevators, but the team at the hotel opened up the service elevator and fixed the issues very quickly. Would highly recommend this hotel!

Beautifully remodeled hotel. The King suite is spacious with a couch and dinette. Well situated near Central Park Times Square, Rockefeller Center. Subway access at 8th Ave and 50th for quick trips downtown and uptown.

Hotel was very clean and the staff (reception, maids, doormen, etc.) were so friendly and helpful. It was very convenient to the subway and we enjoyed the coffee and drinks (for purchase) in the hotel cafe. There was also a very good Chipotle and Duncan Donuts across the street for a fast meal or drink. Very walkable to Times Square and Central Park. Would definitely stay here again!

Really enjoyed my stay here. Having the in house cafe / small shop was useful. The connecting bar so and so’s was absolutely beautiful with great staff and drinks. They were super friendly and were able to sort us a taxi at short notice for a good price. Only things I would mention as a negative was holding £100 dollars per day as an indemnity clause which means I had to have 500 dollars held before even starting my stay and the cost of staying in my room for a few more hours seemed very pricy It’s a great hotel with lots to offer, deals on at theatres and perfectly located for anyone visiting broadway / Central Park and Times Square

The staff during my check in was rather rude, but other staff are nice, especially the doormen and the securities. Rooms are big, but the table lamp is not working the whole time, shower is weak, it takes a lot longer to have a shower and there is nowhere to put my own amenities but the floor. Yes, it is noisy. We got woke up around 3am by the baby crying next door twice. But the price is good for a family vacation around that area since the rooms are big.

Our second trip staying at Romer’s and it didn’t disappoint. Friendly and helpful staff made it all the better. Easily walkable to Times Square and Broadway. Close Subway and food locations. 10/10 would stay again.
