"The staff are friendly and helpful. The woman who seems to manage the on-site restaurant is exceptional. She was training two servers, one was an middle-aged gentleman who was having problems with the technology and efficiency and she was patient with him while also scrambling to make sure the guests were taken care of. The restaurant is good, although we only had breakfast there every morning. Coffee drinks are expensive but everything else was reasonable. Check in was great. Parking/valet is fine but $50 a night with in and out service. They just use a parking garage down the street, less than one-half block so you could probably park yourself for less. The carpet in the hallways on the second floor is in rough shape, worn to the point it should be replaced. No exhaust fan in our bathroom and creepy wallpaper. Normally I barely notice wallpaper and wouldn't mention it, but this creeped both my sister and me out! The a/c in the rooms is great and you can set the temperature easily. The clock in our room had never been set to daylight savings time and we couldn't find any way to set it. It's on the edge of the French Quarter so plenty of shops and fabulous restaurants, Bayona and Mr. B's maybe a block away. Deanie's is a good bit less expensive and is one block away with wonderful New Orleans food."

"Everything was nice, check in was bad couldn’t find confirm booking. Said they didn’t have the room I booked. Told them to give me whatever they had. But everything was awesome. Will be back Hotel of Choice. "

"The staff never answered the phone . When I was able to get to my room . it was only one towel and wash cloth. There was no soap in the room and no phone to call the receptionist desk to ask for additional towels and soap. I had to physically go down stairs and was given travel size liquid soap. The light in the room was. broken as well … the sink was cracked and dirty . this stay ruined my husband surprised birthday trip"
