"Out of three strip hotels I stayed in this trip the Sahara was by far the worst. We had the Alexandria Iconic King but the room did not match the picture, ours was entirely painted white with no backdrop like the images show. The backdrop turned out to be hanging rugs in the rooms that do have it (the grey wall art). We had no power in our room from midnight all through the night and the next morning. In the morning at 8:30am sharp we were woken up to construction noise directly above us - concrete drills and other power tools. The reception didn't offer us anything except a room change when I told her about it at 10:30am. I was pissed off enough that I wanted a refund. I told her I would never return to this hotel again. She gawked when I told her the room had no power, as if to not believe me for saying something sooner. No power, silly room design, a window between the shower and the bedroom with the blinds on the outside is the most ridiculous thing I've seen. We had a much better stay at the Flamingo and Mandalay Bay. Sahara was a complete waste of time. Neither of us liked it for different reasons, but I will never stay here again. Even if it had power and no construction we still thought the room design was dumb. "

"The hotel have very poorly staff, the room was clean when we arrived but they didnt clean the room until the last day of our trip they give us new towels and toilet paper. The service was very bad and the day when we got there we couldn’t get to our rooms the elevator was not working properly and they were not staff arround until a lot of people started to complain for the same reason that we couldnt get to our rooms. And the price was different at the end. "

"Our room was not satisfactory. No trashcan. No bathroom cups. No microwave. No refrigerator. No coffee maker. No housekeeping. Was told they do not clean the rooms every day. You have to request it. So I requested it. But they still didn’t show up. Had to ask for my own towels. And had to ask them to empty the bathroom trashcan. Got attitude from the manager. Told the housekeeper herself but was still a no-show."

"During our 3 day stay our “newly upgraded luxury suite” wasn’t cleaned once. I had to call for towels & trash bags to clean up myself. I do that @ home - was expecting the minimum here. Def not a luxury getaway experience. We did have a lovely pool attendant who made that portion of the stay pleasant. Do not plan to return. "

"Overall a decent nice stay for downtown Las Vegas. Lots of food options and shops nearby. Being right across from Fremont Street gave us something to do each night. The room itself was bit worn down. But you can’t expect much from a more affordable stay downtown. When checking in I’d recommend getting a room facing away from Fremont otherwise you might experience more loud noise and experience less sleep. "

"As a very clean room, nice location, various secure and family, friendly. It was nice to have a kitchen and two bedrooms. Overall just a really nice place. I would stay here again."
