"This is a classic vegas downtown hotel. We stayed in the historic part of the hotel. It’s very affordable and has all you need. Unfortunately the staff were quite abrupt at the check in and didn’t seem to care so much about our stay. This was surprising as the documentary on the hotel TV about the hotel’s history constantly laments how it’s a family business and customers are put first. Sadly this was not the case. In my opinion it lets the hotel down because it has some good qualities. I hope in the future the front desk team can get some training, and reflect on how they interact with customers. "

"The airport shuttle is right next to baggage claim. Easy to find and take both ways. The Wi-Fi had good signal throughout the property. "

"The hotel is very beautiful.We love the historic artifacts.It was a nice place to relax off the beaten path yet very close to fremont. Our complaint would be.They need a little shop that sells breakfast sandwiches and coffee in main street station for those of us who do not want to sit down to a breakfast buffet. Love the property would stay there again."

"Location across the street from Fremont a win! You could still hear some music from the stage but it wasn’t terrible . Check in was easy and staff very friendly. The hotel shows its age, but appeared clean at all times . Our view was lame. Water pressure meh. Most annoying is paying a resort fee and the pool is only open from 9a to 5p laaame. Would’ve liked to soak after walking around all day when not doing anything else. Only regret is not making it to eat at Hash House. Walking distance to Mob museum and of course the Fremont experience… which is truly a wild experience on the first Friday of the month!! It’s rough out there ! All in all the room was sufficient for our stay, No frills here, the beds were comfortable. "
