「Breakfast is average」

「This is a Hotel from the early 20th century. It has wonderful character. It doesn't have AC but does not really need it due to being up in the mountains at about 3500 ft. a room fan and open window was more than adequate. We had small issue with a smoke detector battery getting low and the detector started chirping at 4 in the moring. They don't have over night staff so it was fixed in the morning while we were out and fixed by noon. They do have a weekend breakfast that was very good. ...

「LOVED having a room with balcony overlooking the stream/river. Very peaceful atmosphere, we enjoyed the rocking chairs on the balcony. Within walking distance of shops and restaurants and a beautiful park where you can enjoy fishing/swimming/cookouts. Driving distance to the casino, Santas Land and more. The woman at the front desk was very helpful and friendly. The rooms could potentially use some updating, it is easy to see the age of the hotel but overall was clean and inviting.」

「I absolutely loved this property! I didn’t want to leave!! Location was perfect. Bull frogs, birds even the light rain was relaxing. We stayed in the Mountain Laurel Yurt and it was amazing. Clean, upgraded, very luxurious! We had two elk wander in to drink from the pond and they were so beautiful! I highly recommend this property and can’t wait to return!」

「Newly remodeled, still ongoing renovation. Continental breakfast is served . Staff were very nice. The sheets were a little old and carpet still outdated but I m sure they will work on it. It’s right beside the river and our room has balcony which is pretty awesome. The only thing is I booked a king size bed. It is available in Expedia but when we get tot he hotel , it is fully booked and ended up with 2 queen size bed and no refund of some sort. All in all the stay was great」
