This was a great location on our way through Maggie Valley. The outdoor area and live band on a Saturday night was a perfect way for us to end our day. The staff in the location was great. Would definitely stay again.

I have stayed 3x and enjoy the ground level rooms close to the creek behind the property. They are spacious with fireplace. Not sure about the rooms in the main lodge. I friend enjoyed her room in the main lodge. Toiletries are provided. Clean and comfortable room and bed.

A quick one night stay for my husband & me with our two bassett hounds. Clean rooms. Updated bathroom. Large room with an entry space with open closet to hang clothes and a makeup vanity/coffee area w/chair. Next open room had king & queen beds; desk & chair; 2 upholstered chairs & 1 wooden rocker; tv/drawers/refrigerator area; and electric fireplace.

Room was in the older part of hotel. It was clean and unique, but the old wood panels smelled of smoke. Place was ok, definitely not the 8.6 rated on Expedia.

Bathrooms have been updated. Room was comfortable. Nice area to walk my dog. Lobby did not open till 9am. After locking myself out of my room, without my phone, I had no way to contact any one. Good thing it was already 8:15 so I didn't have to wait long.

The room was spotless and comfortable. The showers were hot and the place was extremely dog friendly. The location is great and there is a wonderful view of the mountains. It sits on a creek and in the back you can have a fire. It was a wonderful experience and we will be returning.
