"We all know it's not a 5 star hotel. You get what you pay for. The property is old, you can tell. With that being said, it was clean. The only staff I saw was the gentleman at the desk when i checked in and checked out. He was the only one i saw setting up the breakfast, which was good. The typical eggs, sausage, biscuits, toast, coffee, juices, yogurt, muffins, some fruit, and waffles. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. No complaints. Better price point than most for what you get. "

"Not sure if it's some issue with the AC but it didn't seem to cool well. I usually have it set at 74 at my house. It was down to 68 and I still kept waking up sweating. I have read that some larger chains have thermostats that shut off when they don't sense movement, so not sure if this is the case or not? Also, very noisy on a Saturday night. Breakfast was fine and on par with most that offer them. Room was clean and otherwise no issues."

"For an older motel this was a well maintained property and very reasonably priced. The staff was friendly and it was a very quiet place. I would probably stay there again if I was in Maggie Valley."

"Check in went quickly. Very clean property and room. Everything in the room worked as it should too. Comfortable bed!!! Nice little deck overlooking the creek."
