The rooms were clean, and the staff was very friendly, from the front desk to the supporting staff. The hotel was also in a great location, very close to skiing, tubing, and breakfast spots. We had a good stay.

Room was clean and comfortable with a bit of a mountain view. Motel is a bit older but owners have been updating rooms nicely. Could do a better job with pest control. There were some large unidentifiable bugs that someone smashed on the walls…and housekeeping left them there…twice. I was bitten by something while sleeping, so that was a bit annoying. The mountains have plenty of pests, so maybe that’s to be expected.

The room was clean and neat. Most notably, the staff was wonderful and so friendly! We had a great experience here the night before we skied at Cataloochee. A little surprise was the elk in the parking lot when we went to leave! The lovely gentleman at the front desk told us they come by regularly.

The staff was excellent. I had to work with them twice, once to extend my stay for another night, and once to change rooms due to needing two beds because of back pains. Both were handled quickly and with friendly service. Both rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was tasty.
