"Honestly, the staff was great. Check in was easy, property is safe and a good location. The only thing I will say is there was a bunch of small ants in the bathroom area. This just made me feel like it wasn't cleaned thoroughly. I work in property management so I know these things can happen. It is not something that would detour me from staying here again in the future but it is something that needs to be addressed and resolved. "

"This is a really nice boutique type hotel that despite its age has been nicely restored. Room was modern and clean. Great location that is walking distance to Santa Monica Pier. Only complaint at all was water pressure being very low in sink and shower. "

"Great location and excellent price for a great location! Terrific courtyard for relaxing. Very clean. Only minor limitation was parking, especially if you have a larger car/SUV. There is a first come first serve parking, but some of the spaces are quite narrow and it could be tight to get out. Alternative is 5 street parking spaces with meters in the adjacent street, which can be used through 9am without charge. I opted to use those instead. "

"The king size bed was comfortable. The bathroom was clean. The room facing the courtyard was quiet. There was no street noise. The hotel was old. We had a good stay."
