The toiletries were so delicately scented, Hotel lounge area is used for a lot of external meetings, which can be noisy and not resident friendly, and a friend we dined with said the lounge is extremely busy at weekends. So, not sure what areas they have for hotel guests. Beach and boardwalk lovely, but a lot of homeless men around and not sure l would feel safe at night out walking.

I loved my quick trip to santa monica and greatly enjoyed the beauty of the shutters ocean view room with patio. Being able to see the ocean makes me feel closer to nature and i loved the decoration of this hotel including books to read and toys to play with in the room. We used a bike for an hour which was fun. The pool area is nice and very refreshing. Room service breakfast was very relaxing.
