「We had a wonderful short stay at the Belmond Maroma to celebrate our engagement. The staff and their service were top notch. In particular, Emanuel took great care of us. The spa was wonderful for both treatments and some time in the hot/cold plunges, steam and sauna. We keep coming back because of the staff, the amenities, the food and most importantly the relaxing environment.The pool area is lovely and always clean and well maintained. If going into the ocean is a priority, you should know that the sargassum seems to be getting worse. There were a couple of days walking. on the beach was difficult. The beach cleaners work very hard to keep the beach clear but it is sometimes impossible to keep up with the amount of seaweed.」
