"The apartment was very clean upon arrival, checkin was easy, (keys in a lock box). Lots to see and do everything within walking distance. The beach 5 min walk and a large grocery also 5 min away. If you have mobilty issues this place has 34 steps to walk up to get in. There was no housekeeping and no broom to sweep up all the fallen palapa grass from the roof of the apt which seems to fall daily."

"Pleasantly surprised. This looks like a small motel, but is an apartment complex that rents out a few units. The kitchen was well equipped and the bedroom a separate from the kitchen dining room. Just a few blocks from the beach… and a great beach club. For a low budget trip, this place was just great. The staff did not speak any english but google translate helped to facilitate good communication. "

Hotel Marina El Cid Spa & Beach Resort All Inclusive

"We upgraded our room to oceanfront- we are a family of 5. The room on was perfect with enough sleeping area, private -and separate bathrooms for my husband and I and for the kids. The pools were beautiful and there was engagement from the staff for pool activities. They were friendly and got folks involved. The food was excellent!! The only complaint- and NO fault of the resort was that the beach was unswimable due to seaweed. Can’t help when that blooms an it was clear they were doing their best to control it on the beach. Would go back in a heartbeat!"

"We stayed in a Platinum One Bedroom Suite overlooking the pool and mangroves (room 29309) and had an outstanding stay. The room was spotless, close to everything, had a fantastic view, and the air conditioning and ceiling fan were perfect after a hot day. The minibar was constantly restocked with water, soft drinks and beer at no extra cost. The food was exceptional, with plenty of choice and fantastic à la carte restaurants that were easy to book through our Platinum butler on WhatsApp or the Platinum Lounge. Having access to three resorts was a real bonus, and the Platinum team made us feel genuinely looked after. Every member of staff was incredibly friendly, and the valet service was excellent too. Yes, there was a noticeable seaweed smell when we arrived, but after the first day we barely noticed it and it certainly didn't spoil the holiday. It's rare I can't think of much to improve. Better soundproofing around the suite's front door would reduce noise from the corridor, and an online booking system for the à la carte restaurants would be a nice addition, although the current process worked well. Overall, Ventus Ha offers fantastic value for money. We've stayed at many all-inclusive resorts and this is one of the best. We'll definitely be back. Thank you to all the wonderful staff for making us feel like royalty. Five stars!"

"Our family of five had a great stay at Ventus at Marina El Cid. We spent a lot of time researching resorts before booking this trip, and we're happy with the choice we made. The resort is beautiful, clean, and well maintained. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome. Everyone we interacted with was friendly, respectful, and always willing to help. You could tell they wanted guests to have a good experience. The food was probably our favorite part of the resort. Every restaurant we tried had great food, and the quality was much better than we expected from an all-inclusive. There was plenty of variety, and everyone in our family found something they enjoyed. We looked forward to every meal. Our room was in a great location, just a short walk from the pools and restaurants, which made it easy with kids. The pools were clean, never felt overcrowded, and we ended up spending most of our time there. They were definitely one of the highlights of our trip. The only downside for us was the beach. It's not very large compared to other Riviera Maya resorts, and during our stay there was a lot of sargassum. The resort had crews working throughout the day to clean it, but when Mother Nature keeps bringing it in, there's only so much they can do. At times, the smell from the seaweed could even be noticed from our room when we opened the balcony door. Would we stay here again? Yes. If your priorities are great food, excellent service, nice pools, and a relaxing resort."
