"Had The best time; The room was a bit short on the clean side.. ie crumbs etc saw some ants BUT clean sheets, towels, furniture etc. it just seemed like the cleaner was in a rush, I just think someone missed the mark. Location is 10/10. Property is amazing and everyone was friendly! Lots of amenities. Fireplace in the courtyard, lots of places for pictures! Parking is easy, and doors are accessible to the outside. Beds were comfy and it was mostly quiet! Seems they are putting up an air-conditioned room for the summer and fixing the burned units in another spot of the property."

"Stay for our daughter's nearby graduation. It was perfect. The gentleman in the lobby directed us to great options for food within walking distance. Our short stay let us to new friends and a love of Salem and The Hotel Salem."

"My daughter and I stayed at The Cabot Lodge, on 4/14/26, for an overnight stay, before a college tour at Endicott College. I originally wanted to stay at the hotel on the grounds of Endicott College, but no rooms were available. In the end, I was glad that we didn’t get a room on the college grounds. We decided on The Cabot Lodge, since it was close to the college and appeared to be located in an area that had a lot to do (walkable area). There is no parking, but municipal parking was behind the hotel and the cost to park was good (overnight parking was free). The Cabot Lodge is an adorable boutique hotel. The Staff was very friendly and helpful with information about the area, restaurants and things to do. There was no staff there, from 5pm-9am (they are accessible to call, if needed), but they provided information and supplies to get you through the night w/o needing staff assistance. The room that we stayed in was so cute (unique). My daughter stayed in the loft bed, which she said was comfortable. The room and common area was very clean and nicely decorated. There were free snacks and beverages available, which was a nice touch. The Staff gave us information about the area (restaurants, things to do), which was helpful. I am glad that we stayed at the hotel and I would highly recommend it to anyone who plans to stay in the area. "
