I wish we had more reasons to stay near the Briar Inn because we would be regulars! We only needed one night in order to attend a few graduation events and the Briar Inn far exceeded our expectations. I could tell from the Expedia listing that it was going to be a quaint little place to stay outside of Salem, but it was really exceptional. The fine details in the rooms (snacks to purchase, complimentary bottled water, working fireplace, etc) really made this stay perfect. The bathrooms are gorgeous (separate large tub!) and the rooms are tastefully decorated. The staff are so very friendly! It's obvious they take pride in where they work. If we don't get another reason to drive up that way again soon, we might just book a weekend in the summer to enjoy the pool and local area :)

We loved our stay at the Briar Barn Inn. It was a perfect stay for us and the out of town guests for our son's wedding at the Grove. The rooms were modern, spacious, clean and elegant . I loved all the gas fireplaces and beautifully decorated sitting rooms throughout the Inn. The staff went out of their way to be helpful and friendly. A simple , but delicious continental breakfast was perfect!

Just enjoyed my 1st time here. Without a doubt it’s one of the top 3 hotel rooms Ive had in 20 years of nonstop travel as a factory sales representative in 15 states. Most upper end hotel chains are removing coffee machines. This one puts a netspresso machine in its beautiful rooms that also have operating gas fireplaces, snacks, comfy chairs and a lttle bottle of wine. Bathrooms have both a shower and bathtub! Front staff checked me in at 8:30pm and was engaging with a sincere warm attitude. I haven't tried the restaurant but will next time next month.

We had a wonderful stay at the Briar Barn Inn. The room was clean and spacious. The staff was very friendly and gave great recommendations for things to do in the area. Dinner at the Grove restaurant was top notch. We will definitely book this venue again!
