「Really lovely place. Very quiet and peaceful. A bit off the beaten track but still only half an hour away from Bristol. Really comfortable bed, and I had the best nights sleep I’ve had in ages. I wouldn’t say this if it wasn’t true! Only one minor point is that the shower head was a bit too low for me, as I’m around 6’ tall.」

「It was a nice property overall, but our room reeked of cigarettes, now my clothes also smell of cigarettes :-( We booked a second room for the rest of the family and that was much nicer. Helpful staff, nice restaurant with a delicious breakfast. Beautiful sunset over the restaurant terrace.」

「The George is a really cute historic inn that is situated in a quiet, magical little village - it is literally right across the street from the ruin of a Norman castle. While you need to leave town to get to Frome or Bath, the bus stop is located right outside the inn. It has a friendly little pub that serves good food and is frequented by guests and locals. The staff was kind and helpful. The rooms were basic but clean. There is no air conditioning but we had a fan which was adequate. It felt...
