「Room was great, clean and comfortable. Bar staff unfortunately didn't seem to know what they were doing and we were overcharged but staff on front desk were very helpful Breakfast was good for most of our party but not much for a dairy intolerance. Games room was a pound for each game. Great and convenient that it is right next to The Wookey caves.」

「From the outside it looked very run down but the reception bar, dining rooms were lovely and the view outside was stunning! The down fall is the noise from the motorway we had very poor sleep! We had a standard room which I thought would have been bigger than the cosy but our room was small but clean. The lack of sleep spoilt it for us. The leisure facilities were lovely and our evening meal. We had a full English breakfast which was good.」

「Very clean and cozy pod. Good wifi and all necessary amenities. Spacious grounds for children to run about. Good parking. Hammocks in shaded areas. The picture of a child on the beach made me think it was near the beach. Turns out it is not. That was a tad confusing.」

「Everything generally was ok. We arrived later than planned and wanted to get my daughter straight to bed. Most of the main lights in the room didn’t work, only bathroom and bedside lights. Reported to reception, she tried to change the main bulb, brought the wrong bulb then needed to get steps. Tried to replace a side light bulb instead, but could get them working. Asked her to give up so I could get my daughter to bed in the end.」

「The place was modern, clean, well maintained with pleasant staff. The down side was the food, the kitchen had strange ideas on a poached egg.The yolk on the eggs in the Eggs Royal l ordered were hard boiled, separate from the white and spherical as if it had been cooked in a melon baller. The holandaise sauce was watery with no taste. That evening in the bar a group of people came in and sat around the bar. As the evening went on they got louder and swearing having no respect for the families...

「We booked a 2 night stay here as a base to take my niece to longleat, which was about 30 mi utes drive. The hotel and grounds were lovely. We had booked a king sized bed, but the allocated room had only a double bed. We complained the following morning, and when we returned that evening our room had been changed and we were offered a complimentary drink and snack each! There were some areas that could do with a little maintenance/attention to details. But all in all we enjoyed our stay here....
