"I had a beautiful stay at this Cancun resort overall. The resort itself was absolutely beautiful, the rooms were clean, and the staff was very friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Since this is an adults-only resort, I do feel the pool and bar could have stayed open later, especially until around 10 PM. The alcohol also tasted like it was being mixed with quite a bit of water. The biggest disappointment was the food. The buffet was okay, but the room service food was horrible. It tasted like frozen food, including the pizza and jalapeño poppers, which was disappointing for a resort of this level. The Jacuzzi inside the room also could have been cleaned a little better. Overall, I enjoyed the beautiful resort and the amazing staff. With better food, cleaner Jacuzzis, and later pool and bar hours, this place could definitely be a five-star experience."

"Staff are nice, place is very clean, rooms are very comfortable, food are very good in all restaurants, drinks are decent, at night the resort lights is pristine, every night they provide some show and it was pretty nice. the only thing is the sea weeds that was stuck in the beach and that generate a lot of bad smell like rotten fish all over the place, it was so bad that all my family did not have pleasure to eat or stay in the pools for the entire stay; at the end my mom went to the front desk and complained with the staff's. she basically teach them all how to do it (as we do have experience with construction) she said the hotel is amazing but the administration of the hotel was killing all the goodness they had. so the very next day they hired tractors and trucks just like my mom said and the last day of our stay was very good, beach was clean and no smell. I wish my stay was all like the last day. I stayed at the water front room and the sunrise is amazing. I wish I could be back in the good days with no sargasso/sea weed that is from (november to april)."

"We stayed at Breathless Riviera Cancun for a week in July to celebrate my milestone birthday. We had a wonderful experience overall. We were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary upgrade to Secrets Riviera, which was a quieter, more luxurious atmosphere while still giving us access to Breathless’ restaurants, entertainment, parties, and amenities, the best of both worlds. Our room was excellent, housekeeping was outstanding, and the mini fridge was restocked daily. The spacious waterfall shower and relaxing ocean views from the balcony were highlights. The fitness center was also well-maintained and I made sure to enjoy it almost everyday. Dining was one of the best parts of the trip. We tried nearly every restaurant (too many to name), but a French one called Coquette was our favorite. The food, service, and atmosphere were exceptional. The Sunset Sip & Paint event and Showstopper Theater performances were fun and worth the while. The main area for improvement is the nightlife. After Dark was small with limited music variety, and the Neon Party felt less interactive than expected. More themed activities, interactive entertainment, and varied DJs would make the nightlife even better. Overall, I had a memorable birthday vacation with beautiful accommodations, excellent dining, exceptional staff, and gorgeous ocean views. The complimentary Secrets upgrade made it even more special. We would definitely recommend the resort and consider returning!"

"This place is a hidden gem. Our private butler Norma was amazing! She catered to our every need and added a few surprises that were nice additions to our many asks. Give her a raise! We also loved all the staff that assisted us from entry, checkin, and even checkout (professional, kind, lovely). This place gives you great concierge service in a hidden resort that never gets crowded. The resort is overlooking the Caribbean sea with the beach waves tucking you in at night as you drift to bed in your private oasis. The food is impeccable with a four course restaurant feel that skips the all you can eat buffet circus of many other all inclusive resorts. The resort sits in a robust ecosystem so there are components beyond the control of the resort staff. The flora and fauna is a tropical marine mangrove. The iguanas are an exotic artistic installation peace that reminds you that you are in their territory. By the end of the trip, we didn’t notice them at all, and if they got close, as we approached, they ran away. The bird chirp sounds hit stylistic notes that almost go with the soundtracks of the pool area that sits in front of the grand entrance. If you must swim in the beach maybe aim to stay in the winter months. We stayed in the summer, when sargassum was high, so we didn’t swim at the beach but we enjoyed the three pools instead. Come here if you want peace and quiet in luxury. We loved it, and we got much closer throughout"
