「The FMI enjoys a very convenient location in the French quarter at a generally affordable price. The architecture style is french with big windows and lovely courtyard quiet in a short distance away from the hustling streets outside. The manager and frontdesk people are all very nice dealing with unexpected situation in a very prompt manner. There is cable TV in the room. The AC works very well. The window view is pleasant.」

「We were a little disappointed as this hotel was advertised through Expedia for having a restaurant and 2 bars. The restaurant, which was really a bar was not open for the days we were there. The other bar didnt open until 4pm. The room was very musty. The TV only had local stations and the front desk didnt have a channel guide. The chamber maids kept the room tidy and replenished as needed. But the main lobby looked like it could use a good cleaning. The furniture in the room was lovely as was...

「What we didnt like was the additional surprise charge of $100 for our 2 day stay that was charged for parking. Who does that? You pay for a hotel room and have to pay to park there?? And $50 a day? That is ridiculous.」

「When we checked in at midnight, we were told that there were 2 bottles of water in the room. When we got to the room we found a pile of towels in the bathroom, no water bottles but there were 2 empty bottles of water in the trash can with other trash. The room was clean but just not finished. The A/C worked but never got the room below 70, I found a box fan in the hallway on day 2 and that helped with the warm nights. The bar was cool with some great fun Tiki drinks. We got a room with a balcony...
