This hotel was OK. It was reasonably clean. Some places were old and dated. The smoking and Vaping on the patio and pool area was too much.

Hilton Garden Inn New Orleans Convention Center
The room was adequate. I was caught off guard with the proprietary parking for $53.11 (includes taxes) per night. We sail out of Galveston frequently, but this was the first time staying here. We will not be staying here in the future, as there are better choices in the area.

Hyatt Place New Orleans Convention Center
The hotel is nice and in a very convenient location. The breakfast buffet was very nice and constantly restocked during the busy mornings. The rooms aren’t as big, especially for a suite and they could use some updating. If it’s busy, be prepared to carry your luggage because they only have 2 luggage ...
