「Beautiful old hotel. Stunning grounds, which were very well kept. Staff in restaurants and reception extremely helpful, polite and efficient. Only reason I didn’t give 5 stars was the furniture in the bedroom needed a bit of tlc. I found rubbish in my bedroom from the previous occupant and quite a lot of dust. There was water on the first night, we stayed 5, despite requesting twice it never got replaced. The only toiletry was hand soap which was also to be used as body wash and shampoo....
