The hotel offers a free shuttle to and from the train station, which made getting there completely hassle-free. Location-wise, you really can’t do better — it’s just a two-minute walk to the cherry blossoms and the lake. We woke up to a stunning view of Mt. Fuji in the morning, which alone made the stay unforgettable. After a long day of walking and biking around the area, the onsen was absolute heaven — the perfect way to unwind. If you’re visiting the Fuji Five Lakes area, this is the place to stay. The kindness and attentiveness of the hosts made it feel less like a hotel and more like staying with family."

"Overall a good choice to visit fuji. Great views and friendly helpful staff. The location is a bit remote and a car is advisable. 4th room was large enough for a family and views from room are good. Food is reasonably good but set menu style so works only if you are flexible on diet options. Hotel style is unique, a bit rustic and less modern but is ok and they have free wine every evening."

"The hotel is clean, the rooms are Japanese themed and when is bed time, they put a Japanese bed which is not so comfortable bug what it pays everything is the view to Fuji mountain. Lake Kawaguchi is i front so you can run or walk 4Km to the other side and vie Fuji mirroring in the lake. A breathtaking view. The Japanese bath are very recomended, price-quality ratio is good but the hotel is a little bit old."

"The staff was very unhelpful in difficulties we had around our booking, caused by major transportation disruptions beyond our control in Japan, and rude to my wife when she tried over 5 times to contact and remediate the situation. I would never recommend this as a '5 star, glamp' hotel. Service levels are 1 star. "

"This is a good choice for a stay near Mt. Fuji. The location is conveniently located to the lake and 7 eleven. There's no staff on hand, but the owner is readily available to help remotely. The rooms are cosy, clean, comfortable. 2 thumbs up."
