"Great view, good location. Other than that the hotel has an odor of mold or must. Sewer smell on the first floor. Only thing that was good was the breakfast every morning on the 21st floor and the staff up there was friendly. The check in staff was just overwhelmed and stressed with weather and I get it. Had no power the first day, elevators were down. Nowhere to dine. Trying to be mindful that my trip isn’t as important as people who lost their homes and property to this storm. And Orbitz trip insurance doesn’t cover weather related issues with the property…."

"Stayed started with property had power outage and couldn’t check in. Once power was up the electors were not working and had to walk 16 flights up with luggage. Went to gym that had power on for maybe 10 min then another power outage. Pool was out of question due to the storms. To top it off alarms were going off at night due to power outage and staff didn’t know how long it would last. It was definitely the worst experience I’ve had traveling. Resort fees were of course still charged even though nothing was able to be used. "

"Our room (king bed with couch) was super spacious and clean. The bed was surprisingly comfortable. Having a balcony really elevated the stay, it was lovely. The staff were super helpful and friendly. The breakfast buffet was just okay, could be better. I loved the small details like the refillable water stations and 24 hour hotel cafe/store. The hotel is also in a really walkable area. In less than a mile we had everything we needed. The beach is only a 5 minute walk. Tons of food options and ABC stores. Overall, it was amazing and I'd stay here again in a hearbeat!"

"This was a one night unplanned stay since my connecting flight to Maui was diverted to Honolulu. We missed our connecting flight to Kauai and couldnt leave until the next day. Front desk agent waited until after I checked in to tell me there is no hot water in the room. They put us on the 10th floor. Elevator was broken and only went to the top floor or the bottom floor so we had to take all pur luggage to the top floor and walk all the way down to the 10th floor with all our bags and my elderly in laws were struggling big time. Once we got to the 10th floor, our options for leaving were either to walk up to the top floor which i believe was the 14th floor including a 13th floor, or to walk down the stairs to the 1st floor. Rather than walk up 4 flights and wait for the 1 elevator, we decided to walk down 10 flights. The room was not fully cleaned upon check in, we found a bunch of chip crumbs on the floor. The room itself cost $200 for the night, times 2 since we had 2 rooms. We checked in at 5pm and checkout out at 5am so we were only there for 12 hours and only needed to sleep after the horrible travel day we had. We landed in honolulu and spent 3 hours waiting on the tarmac for an available gate so we could deplane. Basically spent $400 for 2 hotel rooms for 12 hours with no elevetor and no hot water. And upon check out, they had the gall to charge us a Guest Convenience fee of $30 per room. Do yourself a favor and stay at any other hotel. Motel 6 would have been better."

"Our room was in one of the non-renovated towners (Diamond Tower). It was a bit dated, but fine. the location of the hotel is great and there are a lot of on-site amenities. Overall, it was a very nice stay. I'm still attempting to get a copy of my folio after a couple of e-mails to the suggested e-mail address."

"Fire alarm sounded during my check in. Water was shut down from 8am to 4pm one day for plumbing emergency. The parking payment machine in the hotel lobby does not work fully and it could not print out the new ticket or the payment receipt, but the garage gate lady will not let you out even with your paid original ticket. She has to see the parking payment receipt to let you out! She even threatened to call the security and charge me again, even I showed her my credit charge reminder message. She did not give my original parking ticket back , even I paid 24 hours parking with multiple entries. The hotel front desk lady could not help, and told me that the parking garage is managed by a different company "
