"This place is a favorite for us and have stayed here several times. Great location in Kihei. The condos are in varying condition, with some being more recently updated, which is great because you can select based on your budget. But they all have been well equipped and comfortable. The staff are available and helpful and we always enjoy our stay here. Highly recommend"

"You don't absolutely need a car for Howzit Maui, but it's really helpful. The hostel arranges daily tours and activities, but if you don't make it onto the sign up sheet, then you need to make your own arrangements. There are plenty of people who have car rentals, so making alternate plans isn't a big deal. There are six shared bathrooms (with showers) and a seventh just for women. There are two more washrooms on the main floor. They get pretty busy in the morning and at night. Pancakes and coffee are served every morning! It's a great way to start your day, but get some fruit when you can! lol"
