Independent Hudson River Waterfront Walkway hotels

"Location was great. Layout was a little different with lobby on second floor. Doorman were great, when they wanted to be. They picked and chose who to greet and open doors for and when. I also didn’t find there were very many amenities in the building if any that we were made aware of. Definitely don’t think this hotel is family friendly if that’s what you’re looking for. "I had amazing stay. It was so peaceful and relaxing even though you’re in a beautiful location in the city right next to chinatown and a walk away from the Brooklyn bridge! I definitely will be back. They even have free yoga in the sky!! Room service was super responsive even though I had them heat up my leftovers quite a few times🤗."

"LIKED: • Very convenient LOCATION. • Good CLEANING SERVICE. • Great CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST. • Helpful STAFF all around. It was a very pleasant stay. DID NOT LIKE: • Poor First Impression: The LOBBY needs to be improved. It didn’t give a good first impression at all. A more modern upgrade to match the upscale location of the property would be helpful. • Uncomfortable Second Impression: The CARPET IN THE ELEVATOR needs to be changed. It was old, filthy, and very worn out."
