"Overall good hotel, clean. The pool was warm and clean. The only down fall was the pull out bed uncomfortable but that what you get with a pull out . But no worries it was for only one night. "
"From the rooms, to the public lobby, to the staff, everything was exceptional! Free breakfast was great, had a vast variety of options. Rooms, pool, hallways, lobby, outside, etc. were clean and well kept. Stayed in 2 connected rooms in which front lobby staff helped us get! We hadn’t realized the rooms weren’t together, and without us needing to ask the employee took it open their-self to offer that as an option. We accepted and thanked them for it!"
"The hotel was clean. Room had a refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher with real plates, cups, bowls, etc. which would be nice if you are staying for an extended period of time. ***When we checked out, one of the kids left an iPad under the covers on the bed. We were an hour and a half up the road when the staff called to tell us they found our tablet. Yikes! I did not want to add 3 hours of additional travel time to our already 7 hour trip so I asked them if they could mail or FedEx it to me. They had me go to FedEx (UPS or post office were also options) and get a prepaid label. I emailed it to the hotel manager and they printed off the label and dropped the tablet off at FedEx. I cannot thank them enough for going above and beyond to return our expensive iPad to us. Great job!"
"We had a fabulous 4 day/3 night trip to Memphis and stayed at the Centric. I was unsure if I made the right choice based on some of the reviews but I'm glad I did. Maybe we came at the right time of year when there were no games or events going on. I could see how it would be a popular hotel to stay at during basketball season and/or the weekends. It was a beautiful hotel. Check in was a breeze. Liked the security feature of needing our room key to take the elevator up to our floor. Our room was clean and plenty of room for the 3 of us. Beds were comfy. Loved the infused water available in the lobby every day. We did not eat at the restaurant but ordered a cocktail from the bar. The bartenders were all very friendly. Location was perfect. Quick walk to Beale Street and restaurants as well as the river and park. When walking around town, especially at night, just pay attention to your surroundings. There were definitely some questionable people we came across on the streets however there was a good police presence when the sun started going down. Lots of nightlife if you like live music and I can say the food was great at every place we ate. Anything that wasn't in walking distance, we Uber'd which wasn't bad at all price wise. I would definitely recommend this hotel. "
