Harrisburg city is a dump but suburban Harrisburg and the Harrisburg area in general is extremely nice. There are better hotels in the area, like Best Western, Hampton, Courtyard, and Comfort inn. Would NOT recommend this holiday inn.

For a stop going south or north, excellent place to stop with all facilities. Hotels, gas station, very good restaurants , it is perfect and much safer and better value for price than on the 95.

Harrisburg is a great area, we went to Hershey Park which is very close. Beautiful area, nice neighborhoods lovely farm land. Hershey Park is a great place to go to.

We don't recommend the main road the hotel is one or the water front, but go up to 3rd all the way to Midtown. Much nicer.

" I stayed in the hotel for one day. Everything was good. In the breakfast section one guy I hope so his name is Steve, he had good customer service. He makes us very happy and we feel like our home. We'll see you next summer. "

"We stayed here while we were visiting Hershey park. It is out of the business and a great location. There were fun activity’s for the kids and they gave the kids free ice cream at the restaurant. Highly recommend this hotel if you are staying by Hershey. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The restaurant food was delicious. "
