I think this property deserves its 9 star rating that Expedia has given it based on reviews. Pros: clean rooms and lobby area, beds were comfortable, good hot breakfast, close to attractions, Sheets convenience store in the same parking lot, easy to get in/out of, very friendly staff Cons: there was something wrong with the pool in that it was so over chlorinated and the water was salty on top of it. My son’s eyes were so red, swollen and irritated I had to stop and get drops for him and eye lid wipes so he would stop crying that his eyes burned 2 hours and a shower after he got out of the pool. Also, guests were treating the small breakfast dining area as a diner. Not eating, taking up a table of 6 adults, just sitting there chatting for at least 20 minutes while many of us were standing and eating. Maybe signage or staff assistance would help in that department I would stay there again if I were in the area.

Arrived just around 4pm check in was quick and hassle-free. Front desk staff extremely friendly all of the ones we interacted with during our 3 night stay. Pool area was clean and inviting only thing here could use better ventilation strong odor of chemicals. Morning breakfast buffet was your basic essentials cereal bagels toast cold drinks eggs,sausage or bacon. Everyone's favorite was the waffle maker. The host / employee Could use a course on customer service and friendliness Very rude to just about everyone. Even told my Son to move out of her way at some point... Luckily my son mentioned it to me afterwards because I would of reported right away and perhaps gave her a piece of my mind... Other than that Maybe we will stay again

The staff was super friendly but the room was underwhelming for the price we paid. Yes, we only stayed 1 night but for over $150 it should've been a bit better. The suite had 1 AC unit and it was in the bedroom blocked by a bed so the front room with the pull out bed was very warm/hot. The front desk person brought us a box fan to help. There was no exhaust fan in the bathroom. The pillows on the bed were extremely small and lumpy. We had to put the sheets on the pull out bed. On the flip side, the breakfast in the morning was good. My kiddos really enjoyed the mini waffles and the breakfast area was clean and the staff member was always out making sure everything was accessible to the guests. With that being said, I think next time I would pay a bit more money to stay closer to Hershey Park.

A/C set to 66 and probably never got below 74. Toilet broke and wasn’t fixed for a couple days with no communication except calls we made. Breakfast food was fine with good service, but very tight quarters for more than ten people. Pool water had bandaids and hair in it. Promised cookies for the kids all day and only saw them there once after checking a dozen times. Housekeeping did a good job. Elevator stuck on third floor open so the other elevator wouldn’t come. Found out that maintenance did that after carrying baby and stuff down 3 floors. Could have put a sign up or something, or left the second elevator operational. Sinks drain very very slow. Not the worst I have stayed in but I won’t ever return. Worth trying somewhere else next trip to Hershey park.

As I recall from staying at another Country Inn & Suites (Tampa, Fla.), there was an aroma which I immediately smelt when entering this Country Inn & Suite. Instead of baked cookies, this smelt more like Carpet Deodorizer. Looking at the carpet, I was probably correct. Secondly, another reason we selected CI&S was due to the Laundry Room. Well, after washing our first load (10:00am) we discovered the washer did mot work properly, the clothes were not rung out. We had to manually Ring Water from our clothes. Followed by the dryer not working correctly either. After seeking assistance at the front desk (11:00 am), we were able to use the hotel Staff dryer after 9:00pm. Lastly, the Free Breakfast smelt delicious. However, due to the crowd, and people standing in long lines, we opted out of the Free Breakfast on site and went elsewhere.

Perfect stay for Hershey Park! Located directly next to a Sheetz Gas station, perfect for a quick snack or to fill up. Hershey Park is a little under 15mins drive. Beds were comfortable and clean, the doors were all a bit stuck as they must have been painted over a few times but still operable. The gentleman checking us out was wonderful!

We stayed in a 2 queen bed with a sofa bed. The sofa bed mattress was dirty with a lot of crumbs in it. The red chair had visible liquid stains on it. The room smelled like urine and the bathroom had mold on the grout. This room was definitely not worth the cost due to the dirtiness and bad and uncomfortable mattresses. It felt more like a $80 motel room. Contacted expedia and all they offered was a $25 credit for the future. Very disappointed in how they treat their customers.

I liked the lemonade and cookies upon arrival and the solid surface flooring in the rooms. The only reason I gave 4 stars on cleanliness instead of 5 is due to other guests leaving trash outside of their rooms. Who does this? Maybe a trash can on the floor would encourage them to be more respectful.
