I will never stay here. We didn’t have a good experience at the Ramada at Harrisburg/hershey location. To describe our experience, we had a 3 nights booked, got a room at end of the hall, so there was back exit door, leading to stairs and an ice mechine right outside our room. Couldn’t get any rest all night because the loud noise was constant of people talking and laughing in front of the room, than people using ice mechine which was okay, but was pretty loud, I would expect a secured and more sound proof room door at least if the room are ought to be in a place where noise is inevitable because we go to hotels to rest and and have a relaxing time after a long travel. Next morning went to front desk..and relayed the concern, and if they have any other room available for us to switch since we have 2 more nights left. The front desk lady tried to look another room but proceed to say, “we can’t do, because housekeeping already set to clean certain room, if we did switch we would need to bring or call more housekeepers” I didn’t get what this mean actually. She than said.. “well if you don’t like your room, you could have let us know the same day”. I said “how do I know I was goona not get any rest through the night, before the night even happen?” Anyway, lot of back and forth, she than said she can try to find diff room the next night since we inform ahead. Didn’t follow up the next day. No one came to clean up or provide towels and toilet paper for all 3 days/nights.

The room was clean, fresh and well taken care of. The beds were comfortable. No bugs. Everything smelled good. The bug covers on the mattress were the high quality ones. The staff was wonderful. Other than cruddies on the pool tiles ( not enough to keep me from coming back - I will ! ) everything was perfect !!

I had a very disappointing experience at this hotel and would not recommend staying here. First, I requested an extra blanket and was told they do not provide additional blankets. The staff member acted as if I was asking for something unreasonable, which was surprising for such a basic request. The breakfast situation was unacceptable. It was overcrowded, only available until 9am, and felt very unsanitary. The staff member handling food was not wearing gloves, and items were barely restocked. They would bring out just a few mini muffins at a time, which were gone instantly, and there was only one waffle maker for a large number of guests. The pool area was even worse. The chlorine level was so strong it burned our eyes and skin. Although there was a posted capacity of 15 people, there were easily over 50 people in the pool at one point. Children were entering without adult supervision, and there were constantly people coming and going through side doors. It was clear that management had no control over who was using the facilities. We later found out that people come there on weekends just to party and use the pool. To make matters worse, there were no towels available in the pool area despite checking multiple times. The area itself was dirty, with garbage around and visible mold. There was even a door off its hinges near the mechanical room, which felt unsafe. Back in the room, we only received two towels despite booking for four guests. The stairwells were dirty.

Overall a good experience that suited the needs of my family for a 1 night stay. Clean room, friendly staff, and a reasonably well maintained property. Basic continental breakfast included but was good. The hotel is right off Hwy 81 so it is very accessible and convenient.

We have stayed here for 4 years and haven't had any serious issues in the past. This year was terrible, breakfast hours seemed to have changed, very limited selection. The noise at night was unbearable, informed the front desk on 2 occasions, they didn't seem to care how we felt. It didn't all directly come from neighboring rooms but they contributed. Tvs shouldn't be on high volume in the middle of the night. The hallway down the old section is very noisy up until 2-3AM. By the time front desk would be alerted and walk that far it'd be pointless. If we stay again we will request a room in new section or near lobby as the noise level is quiet in evening. Clock by bed made noise when trying to charge phones, the outlets on clock didn't work with phone chargers, lamp on desk didn't work aside from plugs. Outlet situation has always been a problem here. Shower handle loose and noisy. Aside from that comfy beds great water pressure and friendly staff!

The sink was clogged, we were offered a did not receieve it. We contacted the front desk right away, and they told us we would have to purchase it ourselves cause it wasn’t a part of the deal.
