I called the front desk for tissue, towels and take the trash out, there was no tissue when I arrived. A guy walked up and brought towels but when I asked about the other things he stated,”that’s all the front desk asked him to bring”, disregarding we had no tissue to wipe with. "This hotel was beautiful from the Grand Hall to the room we had, and everywhere in between. The historical architecture was amazing. You could probably pick apart some minor details because of age, but it was even better than we had anticipated, based on some of the reviews. Our air conditioning in the room didn’t cool as much as we would have liked, but other than that it was a wonderful stay. I would definitely stay again. "

"Unfortunately the pipes froze and broke right before we arrived at the hotel but the staff was amazing and relocated us and provided transportation to our new hotel. They went above and beyond and couldn’t have been nicer in spite of the challenging conditions that they were facing. We were sorry not to stay there but will try again next time we’re in town."
