「When we arrived to check in I was given my room. No one told me that my room had been downgraded until we went up to see it. When I called, they basically told me that since I booked with Expedia (3rd party) that I had to take what I could get. 」

「Central location. Staff phenomenal. Great restaurant and pleasant rooftop restaurant/bar. Service was super slow on the Rooftop both times, it helped that the weather was good. Artwork throughout the property made it unique. Who else serves milk and cookies at 9:00 each night? I would definitely stay there again. 」

「The view of the ocean was the only good thing about my room. The air conditioner didn't cool, no coffe pot,refrigerator didn't work,broke ice machine,stayed on 9th floor one elevator broke also could have had a microwave per request found out last night there. The only good thing about stay was staff Kat and Ernest. If I could have stayed in the lobby would have been amazing very disappointing paying well over 300 a night. I will never go back to the Tides again.」

「The hotel was great but on the weekend the pool was packed and people left towels on chairs that were not being used. It wasn’t clear if all those people were even staying at the hotel. It would have been nice to enjoy the pool more. The place was clean and the location was excellent. The staff was very nice but the valet attendants were loud and you can hear them right outside the window early in the morning. If it wasn’t for the pool and the noise I would have given them 5 stars. 」

「Small, dark room. Very noisy ( the 7th floor was shaking at 7:30am on Saturday, when the yoga event started). At $1,000 a night one should expect more. 」
