Pros: Staff were very nice. The site was clean. Value for off season. Our child loved the indoor water park Cons: Check in took about an hour. it was marathon weekend, so maybe that had something to do with it. The smell of pot runied our ocean view balcony at night (not necessarily the hotel's fault, but stilldisappointing). The indoor pool chlorine was intense and started burning our eyes. Our child loved the slides.

We are repeat customers. A great place to go in the off seasons and enjoy the indoor water parks, coffee shops, activities and restaurants. We never had to leave. Cannot remcommend enough.

The roomwas out dated and bathroom needed redone. Popcorn celling wass falling down onto furnature. Was only on 2nd floor and could not enjoy the beach and water because of palm trees. Dont get me wrong its still a beautiful resort and checkin and parking were great. Still good value if renovation happen!!!

The that was good to me and my children, anything you need that they could provide they did. Kids had a ball in the water park, just feel they should be a closed in walkway to the other buildings water park. When it's really busy I think they should have two men replacing the water park towels. I feel the breakfast buffet needed some turkey bacon or turkey sausage for all those that don't eat pork daily.

Our room was perfect for a family of 4; we booked a 2-Bedroom angle room. Great for relaxing. Resort was clean and the kids loved the waterparks. Check in was easy; their parking director was awesome and kept things moving as everyone shows up at the same time. Super easy get away.

Clean room ,the view was amazing ,very kid friendly ,even though I didn't bring my grandkids but I will the next trip.The staff at the front desk top tier and the accommodation of the house keeper they were spectacular. The restaurant in the inside services was not great at all ,but food was good ,lol can't win them all, but the breakfast buffet was awesome services was amazing 9 out of 10

Very nice staff at the front desk and concierge.however my room wasn’t cleaned at all during stay, and I found spots of blood around the toilet which I purchased bleach wipes and cleaned myself.

The room was very dated. Toilet didn't flush. We had to lift the lid on the back of the toilet to get the water to refill. One of the tv's in the room didn't work. The pull for the shower didn't work. When lifted water sprayed out the spout everywhere and very little through the actual shower. This room is a disaster.

Everything about Dunes is great! The only thing if wish they improve is their check in and check out. It's almost impossible to get parking at 4 to check in and getting a uboat at check out is like hitting the lottery. But the staff is lovely and the rooms are great!

We booked a room at Dunes resort in Myrtle Beach SC. The hotel as well as the parking garage were under construction. There was absolutely no where to park. Their only solution was for us to park in a tow away parking lot for public beach access that Myrtle Beach has NO PARKING over night. That was a big no. We checked in at 11:20pm. We were not told this before we were checked in. After 3 hours of being inconvenienced with no parking we had to leave that property and find another hotel to finally get checked in at 2:30am!!!! This was a complete inconvenience. The front desk workers were absolutely no help. They were telling us to park illegally per The City of Myrtle Beach SC, which would have had our car towed.

The rooms need a long overdue update- rusting and damaged appliances, damaged bedroom furniture. The hallways of the north and south towers are dirty and dingy. All of the trim needs to be repainted and recaulked. Beds are firm and the oceanfront rooms have a great view. Overall quietness while in the rooms.

Overall this trip was great. My son had the time of his life at the 2 VERY different indoor water parks. The staff (in particular Toni) was amazing, very welcoming and did everything to make sure my son had the best birthday ever. She was very helpful from start to finish. My only complaint was the people upstairs sounded like they were fighting for hours and we heard it all lol.
