「No security chain or bolt on the door. The front desk assigned someone else to our room and these other guests entered our room at around 10 pm, which scared both us and them. The room could have been cleaner.」

「It served its purpose for an overnight trip. It was right on the bay and the view was beautiful. Otherwise, the hotel could use some sprucing up and they’d be better served getting rid of the carpet in the rooms. Definitely an old hotel but close proximity to everything.」

My phone didn’t work and only my husband could use his card to unlock our door she seemed mad about that. We spent a lot of money here would have been nice to get stuff for smores both nights we paid. Better customer service would definitely make this place better. I would stay here again if customer service improves.」

「We were very disappointed to find out that the sauna was not open during our stay. Having access to the sauna was one of the amenities we were looking forward to enjoying when we booked the hotel, especially as part of a relaxing beach getaway. It was frustrating to arrive and discover that this amenity was unavailable, particularly because this was not something we were expecting when we made our reservation. We feel that guests should be clearly informed ahead of time when advertised...

「Sunset Haven is a hidden gem and I’m afraid to write a good review for fear it’ll become popular and harder for me to book again!! There really aren’t amenities aside from the coffee in the room so that was hard to rate. It’s a cozy little place with only 12 rooms, gorgeous views, clean and lovely!! The construction that is mentioned in other reviews is offsite in a nearby lot. I believe a new hotel is being built (there was one there before). Hard to say if it’ll disturb future guests but it...
