Room cleanliness. Actual description of the room was in accurate. There were no towels upon arrival because washer/dryer were broken, as well as no working ice machine. Manager was helpful and friendly, other staff member used quite a bit of profanity on premises

The room was inadequate. The heater did not work, there was very little furniture. We had to eat on the bed because there was not a table and only one chair. Suitcases had to be on the floor since there was no surface to put them on. The shower was so little that shaving legs was not an option and all shower items had to sit on the ground because there was not a shower shelf. The bathroom had no counter so there was not a place to have make up and toiletries. The hot tub was nice. The property staff were AMAZING and got us a space heater and blankets to stay warm. The property looks nothing like the pictures!

The place is okay, the rooms have great views of the ocean and easy access. The rooms are ok, the beds are hard and the comforter doesn’t really fit the king size bed. But all in all it was ok.

The electrical unit looked iffy in the room. The bed felt like it was about to snap. Definitely need better beds and bedding. The bedding is so thin. Towels are so tiny for going out to the hot tub. Poor lighting in the room. Thank god we had a flashlight! No light out back, with a step that is two different sizes. So dangerous . Better chairs to sit in that does rock. The shower head is so low you have to duck and the toilet is so low to the ground too. The staff was lovely and the hot tub was surprisingly nice, but those rooms need a make over badly.

This facility deserves a five star rating because of the value it provides. Go there realizing it is an older motel....with one of the best locations on the Oregon coast. Every room has an ocean view of one of the few beaches that allows you to drive down onto the beach. The access road abuts the property. Some of the rooms, such as #331, have just been completely remodeled. Several have patio hot tubs. There is a rock formation with tidal pools accessible depending on tides. Remember, the ocean is always dangerous. #331 had full kitchen and bath/shower combo. Two queen beds. We rebooked it for two nights in December for less than $300 total, all fees included. Within blocks of D River. 10 minutes to Chinook Winds Casino.

The room was absolutely disgusting. Dirt, dust, stains everywhere. There were stains on our blanket and the replacement had burn holes. The fire alarm kept randomly going off. Blood stains in the bathroom. We couldn’t believe what we were seeing.
