「Nice place to stay」

「The owner bent over backwards to make our one night stay comfortable and relaxing. The Admirals room was small and a bit difficult to navigate the hallway to the private bath for the visually handicapped but was not a problem otherwise. Breakfast was excellent. If you have a choice I'd stay in the Captains quarters, a larger room.」

「I feel like we were completely catfished by the photos and cleanliness rating. Expedia listed this motel with a cleanliness score of 9, but that was not our experience at all. As soon as we walked in, the room smelled musty and looked dirty. The carpet had multiple stains, there was dust on surfaces, and we found hair in the bed sheets, which made us question whether the bedding had been changed. 「Two bedroom suite is incredibly spacious. Unfortunately the floor was not well cleaned, and bits of food were easily visible under the furniture in the main living space. The beds were clean, though the mattresses and pillows were not comfortable. The location is amazing and the views from our room were wonderful.」

「Fantastic experience! The outside looks a little run down but the rooms are clean, roomy and recently remodeled. The owner was super sweet and helpful. Couldn't help but see the inn is up for sale. I hope the new owners who take over keep up the great work!」

「For starters, my floor was so filthy. I use the bath towel to go from the bathroom to the bedroom to the bathroom and into the bedroom and it was pretty brown when I got done after three days when you walked across the floor it sounded like your feet were sticking to it. I brought this to the desk attention two times they told me oh it’s the soap we use on the floor. The room had a foul smell, which eventually went away. 「Anchor Inn is like one of the oldest hotels/motels in Lincoln City and there’s a lot of memorabilia there. I stayed here many many times and have been welcomed and I just feel like it’s Home away from home. I would recommend this place to anyone to experience. But if I do that, they’ll raise the price! Ha ha ha just kidding have fun.」
