「The property was very clean, as was the room. The staff was helpful and quick to respond to a concern. The electricity went out due to a storm, and we were stack in the elevator for just maybe two minutes, if even that. Great place to stay. I have stayed here for 12 years and will continue to do so in the future.」

「From checking in to check out, everything was easy and more than expected! Room was very clean and well appointed. Staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The chef prepared breakfast each morning was delicious and visually appealing. It was nice to be able to have wine in the evening with cookies. The view from the room was absolutely amazing out to the ocean. There was also a fire pit with provided wood and firestarter to be able to enjoy. Most definitely will stay there again!!」

「Fantastic! The hotel is an experience hotel based on literary authors that were part of the scene back in the 1800’s and onward. Incredible spaces: check out library on top floor. Fantastic restaurant. Right on the ocean with incredible view and patio with fireplace. Walk to the coolest section of Newport is — well it really isn’t a walk, the hotel is in this very cool area of town’s coastal historic area. 」

「Birthday weekend away. Small simple and clean room. Our smoke detector went off un the middle of the nihjt and they where available immediately to assist us and get it turned off so we could get back to sleep.」
