We liked this place so much we added an extra night. Great location with beach access, nice courtyard with fireplaces, great pool room, laundry facility, game room and pleasant staff. Would recommend! They have a restaurant in the same parking lot MIST but we didn’t try it, mattresses could use an update but not too bad

The place is by the ocean and I appreciate the walkway to the beach. The place is quiet. The bathroom is good and clean. We we're disappointed with the slow action of the staff though when I raised that there were no towels in the pool area the Sunday morning. I end up getting the towels in the room because my kids are cold. They should have replenished it in the previous evening to begin with. Thanks.

Could not check in until after 4:00pm and had some one kind on our door about 9:30pm wanting in. Called the front desk, took 3 calls for some one to answer and said maybe maintenance at the wrong door. Weird as we saw the two guys and asked what they wanted and they never answered. I asked the theee times but never opened the door. Kind of freaked my daughter and I out.

We booked a room that had a fire place. However, when we tried to use it, the pilot light went out. Then we tried to call the front desk, but the phone didn't work. We tried to call using our phone, but the voicemail was full.

Make sure and ask the desk if they come clean your rooms we were there for 3 days they never came and gave us clean towels or more coffee we asked the desk and they said we need to ask for that.

It is a big property with beach access, pool and hot tub, restaurant, game room in lobby, and dvd’s that you can borrow from the front desk. Staff was helpful and pleasant and room was clean. This property is perfect for families on a beach vacation. Our room and bathroom were both very roomy. Coffee, fridge, and microwave make it even more economical.

Good hotel for families. Was a bit unsure about outside deck railing as it was loose so indidnt let my child go out unattended. The room was clean ans the pool.was a hit. Great location.

I have been a loyal customer to surftides for 8 years but sadly not anymore. Horrible service sense management and staff changed!! BED BUGS in room 430 with NO COMPENSATION. We killed one and caught one in a cup! They handled it terribly and told me just don’t bring the cup up to the office and there’s a motel 6 across the street then finally got me into another room that smelt weird and had used chapstick on the floor and crumbs that someone else had paid for. This all happened at around 1 in the morning with two toddlers age 4 and 5 so it wasn’t fun. Next morning we saw the cleaning lady pick up the cup and set it down on her cart and clean the room as usual!! Manager told us pest control would come out for inspection and then they could issue some sort of compensation. It’s going on day 8 now and still no call or compensation. Everytime I call them they just seem annoyed and say the pest control still hasn’t shown up. I still have my belongings in my trunk out of fear of bed bugs getting into my home. I understand mistakes happen but this was handled terribly and there are other reviews saying the same thing. I will say once we had the room change our stay was better. Great location and awesome beach access. They have a pool and the rooms are very close to the ocean so it feels like you are on the beach. But sadly our family tradition at surftides has now ended.

Very nice clean room. Staff friendly. Enjoyed that you weren’t bothered by staff , just place dirty linens in their special bag outside door and replaced with clean very quickly. Just wish it would have been closer to the actual beach

Barry friendly staff and clean room. We got a free upgrade. We actually did not go to the pool because it was freezing. And you have to go outside to get to the pool.That kind of detoured us from doing the hot tub

View was perfect from balcony. Great room for hearing the ocean ! Cons- balcony is very small, the sauna and steam room out of order, the jacuzzi dirty. Rooms are a lil run down. The price is more for for the balcony ocean view.

The hotel its self is dated but nice the staff is friendly. The pool are is nice. The hot tube is in a separate area then the pool the sauna was out of order and they also have adult only hours. They have a fun game room!!! The biggest problem is the noises. We had to call the office 2 times and my husband went to the office because the people above us were running, pushing chairs, jumping off the beds until 1:30am. We finally were able to sleep around 2 am then had to be out of the room by 11am that ment hardly any restful sleep.

LOVED this property! Staff is super friendly. Lots to do for kids. They have a game room and we loved playing the scavenger hunt game. Restaurant on site was good. Room was perfect with the BEST view.
