"Ava was a nice facility, however considering the amount you pay to stay at the property you would expect the rooms to be exceptionally clean. Our room was not the cleanest until the 2nd day when we left a $20 tip for housekeeping. The adult pool was overcrowded and service was extremely slow, which caused my husband & I to have to sit at the kid pool, just to find seating. We were unable to attend the on-sight club 2 nights in a row, due to overcrowding. The club can only accommodate 160 people, so if you're interested, get there extremely early. Prior to checkout, we were promised a complimentary van ride to the airport by one of their staff, however, at checkout they tried to charge us $76 for the ride, which ultimately turned into a mess. Overrall, Ava is a decent resort, but won't be returning. "
