We had a fantastic stay at Meliá Casa Maya Cancun. The resort is clean, beautifully maintained, and perfectly located in the Hotel Zone with easy access to the beach and lagoon views. The food was great, lots of area on the beach and never felt too crowded. The kids water park entertained our kids for many hours. The swimming area was clean but a little too wavy. The food was just fine, but nothing to write home about. The room was large and had more than enough space for all of our things, but smelled a little musty upon first arrival. The staff were really friendly and very helpful

Room was good. Nice and spacious. Food is VERY limited. Not much variety and very limited treats/sweets. Never have been to a resort where is no ice cream offered. Checkin was stressful because of a mistake that Expedia made while booking. It got resolved but it wasted half the day because of that. Overall nice small resort. Not sure if I would return.

The level grand suite room was great. Kids loved the water park. Lack of restaurants and crowded beach were main 2 negatives. The locals came to hang out late afternoon. Not a nice beach for walking along.

We stayed at Meliá Casa Maya Cancun for a week with my two older kids and really enjoyed it. The resort is very clean, modern, and newly renovated. It’s a smaller and quieter place, which was perfect for us. We booked a basic room, and it was surprisingly large, very clean, comfortable, and had a nice view. Honestly, we didn’t see any reason to upgrade—the basic room was more than good enough for us. The staff were super friendly and always helpful. We liked the food, and the desserts were especially good. The beach and pool were great and never felt crowded. If you don’t like big, busy resorts and prefer something calm and comfortable, this is a great option.

This resort was absolutely amazing in every way. There was entertainment every night, and the place itself is very modern and beautiful. The food was incredible, I already miss the steak, salmon, and juicy shrimp 😋 The restaurant atmosphere was great, and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I only have one small comment, the pool could use some heating. Sometimes it gets windy, so the water feels cold. Personally, I couldn’t swim in the pool. However, the beach was absolutely beautiful, the water was warm, and the best part is that it’s very close there’s no long walk from the pool to the beach.

Rooms were great and spacious. Service was great from majority of the staff. Food was underwhelming because of only 2 restaurants which means the buffet should’ve been bigger but no the buffet was one of the smallest I’ve ever seen. The waterpark was great for the kids and adults. The pool was also great for kids as it has a shallow section. The beach on the north side of the strip is more of a bay so it’s calm without any waves (good for kids but not good if you’re looking for waves).

The hotel, property, staff and restaurants were above all expectations. The balcony was nice in the morning, but we could not enjoy it during the afternoon or evening because of the restaurant ventilation being directly below. I can’t say enough about the wonderful staff.

Food was clean but limited options, also tables and chairs were not clean properly at restaurants between people . Kids high chair most of the time dirty. Pool is cold not heated and no hot tub. No ramp to take stroller to the beach or the water park from inside. Kids club lack toys and entertainment options it only had timed activities. No coffee shops. And icecream for the kids was only served in a hidden place it was like a hidden gem and most of the time not available . The best thing about the resort if the beach and the clean rooms and friendly staff .
