"This place was incredible. It was essentially a one bedroom apartment with a small kitchen a full living room and dining room. Location is incredible for Mayfair and Hyde Park. The only criticism I had was that I had a room at the front of the property. It faced onto a popular cut through road so you could hear the traffic outside until around 1am. "Great location. Short walk to the Russell Square station. Breakfast was outstanding! They call it a Continental breakfast but it was a full English breakfast. Beds were very comfortable! Our first complaint is that the property doesn’t have air conditioning and the windows only open about 2 inches. We were there in a heat wave and the fan they supplied was rather useless. The other concern is that there are frequent ambulances and the sirens are very loud. They gave us ear plugs, which helped a lot. We would definitely return to this location."

"We just got back from a two week stay at Hotel Riu Plaza London The Westminster. This hotel was wonderful! We had a few issues with the first room they put us in, but he staff was very helpful and accommodating and moved us into a different room quickly, and that room was wonderful. It was clean and fairly large by central London standards. The location of the hotel was perfect. At first, we were worried that we weren't super close to a tube station (we were a 10 min walk from Pimlico tube station, but other hotels are closer to tube stations), but that turned out to be a blessing in disguise, because the second week of our trip was hit with tube strikes, but that didn't bother us too much because we were relying on buses and the Uber boat river bus service anyway. There are several very helpful bus lines within a 5 minute walk of the hotel because it's next door to the Tate Britain Museum, and these bus lines pass through all of the major tourist attractions of central London like the Houses of Parliament, Westminster Abbey, Trafalgar Square, and Piccadilly Circus. The hotel is close to the river, which is great for taking the Uber boat to Greenwich or the Tower of London. The neighbourhood around the hotel was quiet and safe. Breakfast was included, and it was amazing! It had so many hot food options, and lots of bonuses like a Nutella dispenser for pancakes. Breakfast was so delicious! Overall, I would recommend this hotel for a wonderful stay in central London."

"Lovely bed, clean room and really positive staff. However the maintenance of the hotel was lacking. Our TV was VERY wonky on the wall, sockets were damaged and “pushed back” into their face plates. Vending machines out of order. So so the good, silly things let it down. For the price point, won’t be staying again as there is better, but if location is important, it is a good hotel with excellent staff and service level."

"Room have no AC the windows dont open very far and there is no mechanical ventilation. Even the week after a hot spell when the outside had cooled the room stayed hot and uncomfortable to sleep. A fan was provided and I managed to plug it in near the window but the back of the hotel is surrounded by other buildings and seemed to retain heat. I am in London for 4 weeks but I have moved hotels for the remainder. There are plenty of hotels in the vicinity and I have found one with AC for the same price which also includes breakfast (it was extra at The Presedent) At these high prices that is the least I expect. I had no problems with the hotel other than that but being uncomfortable at night and not sleeping well due to the heat was a reason to switch hotels."
