The staff was very kind and courteous, always helpful in assisting us with our questions. We learned about Japanese culture and had a wonderful experience; definitely get the dinner, it was worth it. "The staff and atmosphere was amazing. It is a perfect retreat from the busy streets of the big cities. The food was amazing, traditional, and filling and the baths are clean and enjoyable. The surrounding village is also beautiful. We came during the hot month of September and it was still very enjoyable to be in the hot springs. I would highly recommend the Ohara No Sato to people looking for an authentic, traditional Japanese experience. "

"急遽GWの琵琶湖に行くことになったのですが、近辺のホテルがとれなかったのでこちらに泊まりました。エキストラベッドのお願いをしておいたので用意してくれてあってとても助かりました。アダルト専用ホテルでしたが部屋はふつうのホテルっぽい内装だったのと、お風呂が広くてゆっくりできたのでとても快適でした。フロントの方も優しかったです。また琵琶湖に行く時は利用したいと思いました。"

"We spent two weeks in Japan, staying at several hotels and Airbnbs, and Moksa quickly became our favorite. The hotel is set on a stunning garden, and the staff welcomed us with genuine warmth.
