"We loved our stay. Our room was high in the sky with the most wonderful views across the lake. The staff were kind, friendly and very courteous. The shuttle bus to and from the hotel to Otsu station was really handy and only a 10 minute drive. We didn’t coordinate our stay well enough to be there on a Saturday to take part in the parkrun around the lake which was a shame as the start was just outside the door. Restaurants and supermarkets nearby too. Will definitely stay again."

They were professional and friendly. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The location of this hotel is amazing. Restaurants and shops all close by not to mention shopping. We definitely would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling and wanting to be near the train station."

"Nohga was such a nice spot to call home base for our stay in Kyoto. It is just down the street from the Kiyomizu Temple. The breakfast every morning is so worth it. All of the bread and pastries are made in house from the bakery Cicon, located in the lobby. The room was pretty spacious for a Japanese hotel room, and we loved how there was a water filtration set up in our room for drinking water. Highly recommend!"
