"The Ace Hotel is in a great location, on a quieter street yet with many restaurants and shops and museums walking distance away, including the busy Nishiki Market. Our room was clean and spacious. The staff were very polite, helpful, attentive and welcoming!! There is a Stumptown Cafe on the ground floor which we used every morning for coffee and pastry. (There was coffee in he room as well) We did not try the restaurants in the hotel, since they were not typically Japanese and we dined in several nearby restaurants instead. The hotel is adjacent to a shopping and restaurant building. Definitely recommend the Ace Hotel for a comfortable, pleasant stay in Kyoto! "
