"The hotel was amazing. The beds were sooooo incredibly soft and comfortable. Very clean. The bathroom was very nice. The onsen was very nice. We were greeted with a welcome drink voucher in the bar. There is a guest lounge with complimentary hot and cold drinks, snacks and icecream. Unfortunately The laundry was always busy. And the only disappointment was that I received a confusing email with extra tourist tax fees, I emailed property to confirm and I was charged more than I was advised. I questioned this but never received a reply.
Very close to subway station. Easy 17 min walk to either Kyoto station or Nishiki market area."
"Excellent hotel, well located for tourists, has shuttle to near by subway station, food was great, near local authentic restaurants. Various tourist attractions are easily accessible using the shuttle and the subways."
"Onsen hotel in kyoto, the onsen and the massage chairs were fantastic. Staff spoke a small amount of English and were able to sort out most issues that we had. Rooms were extremely dark, but the bed and pillows were hard, it took some adjustments for my wife and I to get to sleep."
"The lobby and public areas are nice, clean and bright. Guests can get drinks like different kinds of tea, coffee or match drinks at the lounge which is nice. The room itself is very dark since there are not enough lights. Outside light is also limited since it’s facing another building very closely. No view at all for our room. Also there’s only recycle slippers which I am not comfortable with using.
One important thing is to be aware of your surroundings for pick pockets in the neighborhood. My husband went to Familymart near the hotel one night and found out his backpack zippers were all opened when he was back to the hotel. He recalled there were many Indians around crowding him at the time and realize why the cashier was looking at him in a weird way. The cashier didn’t say anything but my husband thinks the cashier saw something. Fortunately, nothing was stolen. So be aware even Japan used to be a safe place."
"A wonderful experience. Rooms were plenty big for a family of 4. Very close to the subway line, so easy to get to most attractions. Breakfast is very good and there a ton of restaurants on level 2 if you’ve had a full day of exploring."
"The room was very clean, bed was very comfortable. The pajamas were comfortable too.
All the amenities were nice.
It was very close to the station.
I will stay this place next time!"
