"I loved the location and aesthetics of this hotel. My room was perfectly appointed and our experience in the executive lounge made the stay even better. Also enjoyed an afternoon swim and evening drinks on the rooftop bar. A really lovely place from which to explore a beautiful city."

Isolated from the bustle of Kawaramachi St but easily accessible if you want to shop there or in the arcades. 5 min walk to Sanyo station with trains straight to Osaka for a day trip or up to Kibune and the mountains. Lovely modern lobby and rooms. Second time we’ve stayed there."

The plus is there’s a very good shopping grocery store and stuff just across the road and the Nijo Castle is 5 minutes walk…it is a great place to walk around in the evening."

"The location was great. It’s just a short walk from Sanjo Station, with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. All of the staff were helpful. I stayed in a basement room with a small garden view, which made the room feel really peaceful and relaxing. There’s also an onsen in the basement, so it was nice to soak in the bath after walking around all day in the heat. I also liked being able to grab drinks from the vending machines and then head back to my room to relax. The only downside was that one of the beds squeaked whenever I moved (the other bed was perfectly fine). I wish I’d asked the staff to replace it, because it woke me up a few times during the night."
