「Lovely location & set-up」

「Hotel, room and grounds were nicely maintained. Breakfast was very nice, lots of selection, lots of seating. We stayed for two nights and it was fine; very quiet. Pillows and bedding not luxury but doable. Close enough to Salem without the cost of Salem.」

「We had a great stay in this historic inn. It was in the perfect location to walk to shops and restaurants and the harbor. The staff were a delight and thoroughly enjoyed the Hugo Spritz specialty cocktail they offered one evening out on the patio.」

「We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Bell Inn —our room was clean, the prices were very reasonable, and we had everything we needed nearby. Additionally, the water pressure in the shower was the best I've had in a long time.」

「Room was clean but no dresser. Had to live out of suitcase for a week. Bathroom was pretty but no counter space. The room was nice but not practical. Full length mirror was nice but an accident waiting to happen. There was a circuit breaker that kept going off and turning the tv and lights off. We gave up on the tv. Needs some maintenance there. Having to take out trash out ourselves was unexpected too. The walls are paper thin and you can hear people’s voices and the tv in the next room....

「From the moment we pulled into the parking lot, we noticed how well kept it looked. They had some construction going on in one area, but it did not impact anything in regard to our stay. The space was nice and clean. We stayed in a double queen room and my only "complaint" if you'd call it that was there were enough towels for our group of 4, but only 1 hand towel and 2 washcloth's. Seemed a little strange, but nothing we weren't able to navigate and ask for more. The thermostat was locked...

「The hotel is very new and is located a short walk from everything. There is a Starbucks right downstairs, and one of the few restaurants that keep the kitchen open (Neighborhood Tavern) after 10 is across the street. The only complaints I have is the parking lot is not visible from the building and the front desk is only staffed from 9 to 6. They have a very easy-to-use phone access method for getting into the building and your room. But I can see how this would not be as easy for older, less...
