"My room was never cleaned. I had no shampoo or lotion in any of the containers that they have hanging on the wall. Never got fresh towels. The staff was nice at the front desk. The bartenders were nice. And courteous. It felt understaffed. No one ate as far as I could tell in the dining room restaurant. It felt like the whole hotel needed like 10 more people working there to make it run well."

"Parking was ok, if you have a small vehicle. Very tight for larger SUVs. Near impossible if you have something very large. AC was not working on our floor, but the folks at the HDGH were very responsive when I texted. It was a Saturday and not much could be done. No one is on site that I saw so if you have issues its handled remotely. "

"The breakfast did not have the quantity to accommodate the amount of guests. Several items ran out and could not be restocked. Omelets were made to order but the ingredients weren't available. The juices were watered down. The glasses were dirty. There was a shortage of plates and utensils. "

"Overall. I would stay at this hotel again. It's for a lot of other businesses around it. It's in the middle of everything. The staff was super friendly and that meant a lot to me. It could've use a little updating on the decor and the elevators were quite trusting. They look really old and at one point only 1 was working. But overall I'd still stay again if that was all. But, it wasn't. My main reason for such a negative review and I don't do negative reviews. I'd rather just do no review at all, was the room. I normally go around and wipe down my room prior to unpacking. I literally had to clean the room. I know,I should've asked about another room but it was a busy weekend with the New Edition concert and Monster Trucks and other things, I'm sure the hotel was completely booked up. The ice bucket had water in there with a new liner draped on it. The dresser drawer handle was broken so I had to fix it. The handle in the shower was loose and shaking, the roller chair was unsafe to sit in and the floors weren't swept well. We did our best with what was given to us but that needed to be expressed when you're paying that much money and the room was in that shape. The room was the only real issue with my trip but that's where heads are laid at so it was really important. I hope this review goes across the right desk because I love this hotel chain and this hotel itself and no one should have to experience this. "

"The staff was helpful at all times. The only minor issue I had was that the electronic locks to the front door and my room door sometimes took several tries to open, which was a little frustrating but not a big issue "

"The entire experience was horrible. The hotel was under construction, no mention of that when I booked the room. The entrance/valet area was an absolute nightmare. No parking lot to park, you can park on the street and risk having you car broken into by the homeless people. Or pay a fortune to valet. Then you walk into the hotel and you greeted by a piece of drywall. The reception area was cramped, dirty and frankly uninviting. The room was tiny. Everything about this hotel was deceptive and disappointing. "
